Which acquisition channel should your B2B SaaS actually use?
One channel, chosen with arithmetic. Tell Mazo what you sell, what a customer pays and the hours you actually have. You get one named channel, the maths showing whether it can hit your 90-day target, the channels to stop, and the first message to send.

Working out your channel — about 20 seconds…
How it works
- Answer eight questions. What a customer pays, who buys, your stage and the hours you actually have.
- Get one channel, not a list. Named in the first line, with the arithmetic showing whether it reaches your target at your hours.
- Unlock the plan. Week-one actions with hours, the first message to send, the channels to kill and the pass line for week 6.
Mazo's rule of thumb: the channel has to afford the price. Below about €5,000 a year per customer, cold outbound costs more than it returns, and referrals, communities and founder-led LinkedIn come first. Above it, outbound only works if you have 10+ founder hours a week to run it.
Before you pick a channel
Channel choice is one of six decisions in our go-to-market strategy guide for B2B SaaS. If you have fewer than 10 paying customers, run the first 10 customers plan first — channels come after that. Once the channel is chosen, sequence it with the 90-day GTM plan.
FAQ
How do I choose a go-to-market channel for B2B SaaS?
Start from price, not preference. What a customer pays decides which channels can pay for themselves: below roughly €5,000 a year, cold outbound rarely returns its cost, and referrals, communities and founder-led content come first. Then check hours — a channel you can only work two hours a week is not a channel. This tool runs both checks against your own numbers and names one.
Should I run more than one channel?
Not before 10 paying customers, and rarely before €1M ARR. Running three channels at founder scale means none of them gets the volume needed to tell you whether it works. Pick one, give it six weeks and a pass line, then add a second only once the first produces predictably.
Which channel works best for early B2B SaaS?
Most B2B companies get their first 10 customers from the founder’s own network and manual outreach rather than from a channel at all. After that it depends on what a customer pays, the length of the sales cycle and where the buyer already gathers. The tool names one channel and explains why the obvious alternative does not fit your numbers.
Is it free?
Yes. You get the channel verdict and the reason the obvious choice fails with no account. Enter your email to unlock the arithmetic, the week-one plan, the message to send and the channels to stop.
Run the channel, not just the choice
Picking the channel is one decision. Mazo builds the 90-day plan around it, writes the assets with you, and checks every week whether it is working.
